For further development of my drawings, I try to browse some ‘grid ‘ artwork from Pinterest that suggested. I found some references :
Then I start doing nonsense (randomly) in order to get an idea of my drawings.
and finally get into direction for these:
In class we were explained about principles of “all-over” or “figure/ground” compositions and produce a new sequence of four images using addictive and subtractive drawing strategy.
By using addictive strategy:
Firstly, I start imagine how the picture will gonna develop more by drawing / imagine it flying above sky and some effects around to make it looks interesting.
Secondly, the image of robot give me an idea of making a futuristic pets that too much craziness/unique in it.
By using subtractive strategy:
I try to eliminate the element of the image and thinking of what it can become after that. A half machine , half humanoid motorcycle and a motorboat design.
In class we were asked to get 2 best individual drawings (can be the same or different sequences) 
I tried to combine few of the images and randomly got some unique new shape of the sequences.
In class after we bring the sequences of images and asked to put in a grid, as mentioned before that the coherence I chose between them is because the machinery and sharp edge shape.
The possibilities of those 2 object is nearly mixed since the similarity of their characteristic. For instance, to pick some picture (by eliminating other) that possible to mix for something crazy and a combination for a further view. I pick these two image for reason that I imagine how the gundam robot ride the super bike.
Or the super bike actually transform into a robot.
After that, we are asked to go to studio to continue our exploration and work which I got these 2 images.
We were asked to bring a collections of 10 images with 2 sequence, each sequence can be different object. The purpose is we can explain and discuss how we can develop this object / image more creatively since psychologically a person can be ‘more’ by doing what they love (collections).
1st sequence
My collection of gundam (a Model kit based from japan anime) which assemble by pieces. Actually i did some upgrade by repaint for the gold,red and blue color and some inner parts to make it looks detail and cooler (basically in original model, the color only basic, red , blue and yellow with dark grey inner parts) and also the weapon is a samurai from other model.
2nd Interest : Superbike I found from Internet
The 2 sequences I chose is based on the coherence between them which is two machinery object with edgy shape and models. Actually it also give me the idea of something like from transformer, just with different object and shape.
